Americas Best Value Inn Carlisle

Staff was great. Rooms were newly renovated and very clean. The only downside is the abandoned motel you have to pass to get to Americas Best Value but you can’t really hold them accountable for that.

Overall good experience. Staff was friendly, it was quiet, smelled clean, room & hallway were clean and had just been updated. They advertise having breakfast, but there was no breakfast. Someone coming to visit me and I, both went to the wrong hotel at first because the pictures and my reservation said Travel Lodge, (they renamed it and changed the sign to the new name) so I went to the Super 8 up the street that has a Travel Lodge sign hanging over the Super 8 sign. The right one is behind an abandoned hotel. Has an outdoor pool, but it is not maintained or open.

Website says "Breakfast is served daily starting at 7am until 10am." I woke up early Wednesday morning, and there was no breakfast at 7am. I waited in the breakfast area, passing the time scrolling YouTube shorts on my phone. 7:35am, still no breakfast, only the cereal and coffee that stay out. I was hoping that an employee would at least put out a waffle maker and batter, but no, nothing.

Great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here 2 nights while attending a festival in Shippensburg. Great value. My only real complaint would be the lack of a screen on the window (which not knowing laws in PA might be out of their control). The room was clean and there was a basic breakfast/coffee offering from 7a-9a. As others have noted the location is behind an abandoned property, but easy enough to find with GPS

We stopped one night on our way through. Staff were really friendly. Room was neat and clean. Comfortable beds and no noise from outside the room meant for a decent sleep. Air conditioner worked. TV worked fine. One of the power points for a lamp didn’t work. Water pressure was extremely poor and at the end of the day the hot water temperature was only warm enough to just use the hot water for a shower. We had breakfast about halfway through the service time slot and all the tables needed cleaning. There were a few sausages and eggs left, waffle mixture, cereal and some coffee. Overall good value for a quick stop.

I recently stayed at this motel and was genuinely impressed by the quality and comfort it offered. The room was spotless—far cleaner than many higher-priced hotels I’ve visited. The bed was very comfortable, the linens smelled fresh, and the amenities were thoughtfully arranged. I appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi, strong water pressure in the shower, and the quiet atmosphere that allowed for a great night’s rest. The location is another huge plus: easy access to nearby restaurants, gas stations, and major highways, yet the property still felt peaceful and secure. Parking was plentiful and well-lit. Overall, this motel exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, great value, and a truly comfortable stay. I would absolutely book here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and reliably pleasant place to stay.

By far one of the best motels I've stayed at in this county. From the generous hospitality to the quiet location to the clean big rooms with efficient space to store your belongings and everything else and still have room to walk around to no bugs, no drama and just the best place to be if you want to just relax in a quiet atmosphere. I will always continue to choose this motel over and over because it is by far the best motel you're going to find for the price, cleanliness, and generous hospitality! Very much appreciated!!
